 ABOUT THE DESIGN: The newest addition to the hob collection is none other than a hob design! Hob meaning "love" in Arabic is embroidered on the front in our original digitized work. 

Meanwhile, what screams "love" more than what is arguably the most famous love poem (song) throughout the Arabic speaking world. With words that could melt any heart, the artwork on the back features a melting heart and the words of Enta Omry in both Arabic and English. 

The song Enta Omry translating to "You Are My Life" was composed by prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Abd Elwahab with lyrics by Egyptian poet Ahmad Shafik Kamel and while sung by many artists it was made most famous by the legendary "Star of the East," Umm Kulthum. 

Umm Kulthum's unique muslical style and iconic improvisation makes Enta Omry her longest song lasting an incredible 58 minutes. Her rendition perfectly  captures our culture's emotionally rich and deeply immersive style in composing and performing music, especially love ballads. 

If any words could describe love, it'd be words sung by Umm Kulthum.
